Booth Waiver Request Form

A BOOTH WAIVER IS NOT REQUIRED IF YOU ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NIELSEN BOOTH CONSTRUCTION AND DISPLAY GUIDELINES THAT ARE PUBLISHED IN THE EXHIBITOR MANUAL.

Booth waivers are issued to exhibitors that have booth designs that do not comply with the Nielsen Booth Construction & Display Guidelines that are published in Section 2 - Show Rules & Regulations in the Exhibitor Manual.

Requests for a booth waiver must be reviewed and approved by Show Management. In order to review your request and to issue a booth waiver, Show Management will need the following information:

  1. Complete and submit this Booth Waiver Request Form by April 27, 2012.
  2. Attach a diagram of your booth that is "to scale." Your booth diagram should be clearly marked "Hospitality Design 2012" and include the exhibiting company name, booth number, and contact name and phone number.
  3. If your request for a booth waiver is approved, you will be notified via e-mail. You will need to bring a printed copy of the approval e-mail on-site to inform contractors, floor managers, or other exhibitors that your booth waiver has been approved.
  4. If any other modifications are made to your booth or if the design changes in any way other than what is outlined in your booth waiver request, you must request another booth waiver from Show Management.

Please be aware that Nielsen Expositions follows the industry standard for booth design and other booth related construction, as well as the mandates of the fire marshal for the city in which the event is being held. Should your exhibit not conform to the standard, you will be asked to modify it at your expense. If the local fire marshal determines that your exhibit violates a safety rule, he/she may request that you adjust your exhibit on-site. Be sure to read and follow the "Nielsen Booth Construction & Display Guidelines" and the "Rules & Regulations for Exhibiting" that are included in Section 2 - Show Rules & Regulations in the Exhibitor Manual as well as the Exhibit Space Terms & Conditions included with your exhibit space contract.
