New this year:

Hospitality Design is pleased to announce its inaugural conference specifically dedicated to 'green hospitality design' with a full day of educational programs and interactive sessions that discuss eco-theory and practice as it relates to our industry. Green Day is the place to identify challenges and create design solutions for addressing sustainability in the hospitality industry. Education programming will focus on greener resources and topics concerning air, water, energy, and the impact of the built environment, combined with opportunities for information exchanges with designers, architects, purchasers and owners who are leading the way.

Green Day will feature Hospitality Design's annual Green Forum and Luncheon this year presenting the winners of the newly created HD/ASID sponsored Earth-Minded Awards recognizing the creative accomplishments of Green project and product design in hospitality. NEWH Inc., the hospitality network, will present a scholarship award for the study of sustainable design to a student, along with a matching grant to individual's university.

Green Day will conclude with a GreenSCENE cocktail reception for continuing the green conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
