GRA+D Receives Recognition from Ceramic Tiles of Italy Competition

Ceramic Tiles of Italy has recognized a Gieseke Rosenthal Architecture + Design (GRA+D) project in the Commercial category as part of the organization's 2008 Design Competition. The Northstar Cafe implemented a series of sustainable elements to preserve energy and water. GRA+D curated all of the materials in the restaurant. The firm also used 1" by 6" tiles on the dining room walls and large-format 12" by 24" Italian porcelain tiles on the kitchen and restroom walls.
